Aldersgate provides a full host of services that make any event a comfortable and pleasureable one.
A wonderful venue for group retreats, workshops, and special events.

A three story Craftsman-style home built in 1892 and moved to the Pacific Palisades from its original location near downtown Los Angeles in 1928.

This historic home will accommodate groups of 10-44 for overnight events and up to 75 for a meeting or special event.

Located in the coastal town of Pacific Palisades, Aldersgate is less than a mile from Will Rogers State Beach, a short walk into the trails of the Santa Monica Mountains, and just a block from the shops of Pacific Palisades.

The Main Level includes the spacious living room, dining room, library, formal dining room/meeting room, and lovely porch. The dining room has seating for groups up to 48.

Full meal service is available provided by our on-site Chef, Juliet Mendoza. Aldersgate`s great food has always gets rave reviews from our guests.

Sleeping accommodations for the Main Level are upstairs which feature 8 unique bedrooms (total of 28 beds) with shared bathroom/shower facilities.

The Garden Level features a large carpeted meeting room - 75 seated theater, coffee and lounge area, 4 bedrooms (total of 16 beds) and shared bathroom/shower facilities.

The Garden Level and Main floor have complete handicapped accessibility.
Buerge Chapel - seats 48 in pews
Next to the main house is Buerge Chapel and Meditation Garden, a perfect location for small weddings, a renewal of vows, and worship services.

Resource equipment is available at no extra charge and includes:
  • LCD projector with portable screen
  • Television with DVD and VCR
  • Dry erase board
  • Easels (3). Please bring your own paper/markers


  • Less than a mile from Will Rogers State Beach
  • Walking distance to local hiking trails
  • Right around the corner from shops in Pacific Palisades (including a Farmers Market on Sundays)
